The BMI anti-theft system is a new state-of-the-art high-tech electronic unit exhibiting - due to the innovative operation principle (US US6836216, EP patent pending) - extremely high detection rates of over 90%.

Operation principle

Due to phase sequencing in the four independent transmitting antennas, BMI-10 creates a three-dimensional magnetic field, allowing detection of electromagnetic markers independently of its orientation with respect to the system antennas. BMI-10's operational frequency is 200 Hz.

The three-dimensional detection field, unique only to BMI-10, cancels almost all "dead zones", which all the other EM systems have.

BMI advanced electronics and sophisticated software, based on digital signal analysis, makes BMI capable of detecting the marker even in very noisy electromagnetic environments avoiding false alarms.
